The plain-English agreement between you and Boshworks. We've kept the legalese to what's needed and written the rest so you can actually read it. These terms are legally binding, so please read them before you buy.
These are the terms on which Boshworks supplies its service to you. By downloading the Boshworks Studio app and taking out a subscription, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the service. If anything here is unclear, email us at boshworks@themonohub.com before you buy and we'll happily explain it.
Boshworks is a service supplied by a UK sole trader trading as "Boshworks", operating under the mono hub (themonohub). We are not a limited company.
You can reach us any time at boshworks@themonohub.com. We are based in the West Midlands, England. If you need our full trading address for a formal matter, just ask by email and we'll provide it.
In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean Boshworks. "You" and "your" mean the person or business that downloads the app and subscribes.
To keep the rest short, here's what a handful of terms mean:
Boshworks builds and installs a private AI workspace for your business, one place to run it and anything else, and keeps it improving while you subscribe. You download the free Boshworks Studio app from our site, then subscribe inside the app:
A master-template workspace, set up around your business, that keeps getting better. This includes a bundle of templates (a zip supplied with the download) that we shape to how you work, plus new skills and improvements pushed in while you subscribe.
Bigger, one-off projects, like a website, a booking system or a full custom workflow, built specifically for your business. These are not part of the subscription: each is scoped from a short paid discovery, then quoted and invoiced per project. When you enquire, we aim to get back to you within 24–48 hours to arrange a call and talk through what you need, before anything is scoped or quoted.
Studio is priced as a one-off setup fee that covers the build and installation, then a monthly subscription:
Payments are taken by card and processed securely by Stripe, our payment provider. We don't see or store your full card details. By subscribing you also agree to Stripe's own terms for handling the payment.
Subscriptions are rolling monthly. Each month's payment is taken automatically on your renewal date until you cancel. Prices are in pounds sterling (GBP).
VAT: Boshworks is not VAT registered, so no VAT is added — the price you see is the price you pay.
You can cancel any time. Cancelling stops all future payments from your next renewal date. There's no notice period and no cancellation fee.
When you cancel, your workspace keeps working on your own computer. What stops is the ongoing service from us: you'll no longer receive updates, new skills or studio support, and you won't be charged again.
Boshworks is designed so that your business data stays with you, on your own machine and in your own accounts. For that to work, you provide two things:
Because the AI runs under your roof and your account, your business data stays on your machine and in your account rather than being pooled with anyone else's.
You're responsible for keeping your computer and your accounts secure (for example, keeping your logins private and your device up to date), and for any costs of your Claude account and your own internet connection.
To build your workspace, keep it working and improve it, we need access to it. While you subscribe, we may connect to your workspace and push updates, fixes and new skills, for example through a shared code repository.
We'll be straight with you about this: we access your workspace to deliver the service, nothing more. We do not pool, sell or trade your business data, and we don't use it to train anything. If you'd rather we didn't hold a particular piece of access, tell us and we'll talk it through.
How we handle data in more detail lives in our separate Privacy Policy.
Two simple halves:
We ask that you use Boshworks honestly and lawfully. In particular, please don't:
If the service is seriously or repeatedly misused, we may suspend or end it. We'll always try to talk to you first.
We build your workspace with genuine care and we want it to work well for you. But there are honest limits to what we can promise:
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability where the law does not allow it to be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
Subject to that, and to the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of the service is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill.
If you're using Boshworks as a consumer rather than for a business, none of this affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
We may update these terms from time to time, for example if our service or pricing changes. When we do, we'll update the "last updated" date at the top. If a change is significant, we'll give you reasonable notice (for example by email) before it affects you. If you keep using the service after a change takes effect, that counts as accepting the updated terms. Any change to your subscription price will only apply from a future renewal, never mid-month without notice.
These terms, and any dispute arising from them or from the service, are governed by the law of England and Wales, and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
Questions about these terms, your subscription, a refund or anything else? We'd genuinely rather you asked than wondered.
